The Dog and Fox Pub and The Bop

This Friday night some friends of mine and I journeyed to Wimbledon to check out a recommended pub with "history" known as The Dog and Fox Pub.  The food was good, the atmosphere was nice, and the company was fantastic.  This was my first opportunity to try Bulmers' new cider called "No. 17", which is a berry and lime cider.  It's now my new favourite.  Absolutely delicious, but quite sweet.

On Friday nights here at Roehampton there is a themed party called "The Bop".  This week's theme involved showing up as your college's mascot.  Whitelands' Mascot is "Where's Wally" (Better known as Where's Waldo to we Americans.)  The other colleges had their own mascots which were the Southldands Smurfs, Froebel Frontline, Digby Stuart Devils, and Mount Claire Bears.  Other people came as totally random things, such as "Old Farts", Bananas, Trojans, etc.  I was actually surprised at how many people showed up in costume.  It turned out to be a really fun night.  Here are some pictures from that night.
