Bored and Baking Pt. 3

For Christmas I received 4 packages of Oreos from my dad. I like Oreos, but even that is a little much for just regular Oreo milk-dunkin' consumption, so I thought I'd use them for something else. For the past few days, I've been in the mood to be in the kitchen. Today I decided to put a twist on the delicious cream cheese pie recipe from my mom, and make it with Oreo crust and crushed Oreo topping. Call me crazy, but I think it sounds delicious!

I used almost an entire package of Oreos on the crust and topping. Making the crust was a good way for me to get out any pent-up aggression. Beating Oreos to a fine powder is a good work out too. Thank goodness Jess is back on this side of the pond so I was able to borrow her beaters. I don't think I can "beat cream cheese until light and fluffy" by hand. This recipe is really incredibly simple. It's delicious, and terrible for you too! But hey, there's all kinds of calcium in that cream cheese and condensed milk, no? Anyway, I'm bringing the pie to Pepijn's final hoorah celebration tonight so hopefully I won't be the only one consuming this delicious dessert! Maybe if I'm feeling generous, I'll bring some of this week's cookies too. On second thought, that kind of generosity is really unlikely.
